3D printing is changing dentistry in many ways. It is used for experimental , clinical and for educational purposes . This article summarized the different additive manufacturing approaches and how dentists are using 3D printing to help their patients.

Litereature search revealed that all specialities of dentistry show a high interest in 3D printing technologies. This new technology is about to revolutionize dentistry at the clinical and educational level.

Perspectives

I hope this article helps to promote the application of 3D printing in the various dental specialties and thereby shapes the future of dental medicine at the clinical and educational level.
