Why is it important?

This is the first work that uses 3D technology to quantify the lesions of Covid 19 interstitial pneumonia. The work explains the procedure performed and may be useful to other clinical centers around the world to deepen the radiological aspects of covid19 pneumonia.

Perspectives

This article was written during the most difficult period of the coronavirus pandemic in Italy (March 2020) and the collaboration with colleagues was really valuable. I hope this work will help colleagues around the world who are looking for a way to better define this pathology in childrens.
