What is it about?

This article explores how poets have translated and adapted a famous Basho haiku about a frog and an old pond through the multimodal forms of visual poetry. It suggests that in some ways such an approach offers a closer engagement with aspects of the haiku and its poetic tradition than more verbally constrained poet translations.
