What is it about?
Author reported for the first time that garden shrubs can be infested by the plant parasites.This was not previously known that mistletoe grows on hosts other than trees also.

This finding will help the planning of parasite infestation control strategies in large areas of shrub/tree plantations and fruit tree orchards by various organizations
Perspectives
As a botanist, it was a great pleasure discussing this casual observation from a garden shrub near my office block itself, with my colleagues and friends who encouraged me to write this article, with some information about the tree hosts of the parasite also from the same area.
