The use of social media at work for business purposes can significantly improve both employee and business performance. This research evidences this fact.

Perspectives

Social media drives organizations to decentralization and enable employees make prompt decisions. This in return increases customer satisfaction and business competitive advantage. Therefore, management in organizations should create a structure where social media can also be a part of their business process and help to increase employee job performance.
