What is it about?
The purpose of the present study is to analyze poverty in Sudan by identifying its measurement, causes and the factors that have contributed to the increasing poverty rates over the past two decades.

Writing this paper is useful for providing some policy implications that can be suggested to improve the interim poverty reduction strategy in Sudan for its chances of success.
