Perspectives

Modern educational platforms and online services help not only teachers to create their own educational products, but also to use them in combination with offline teaching methods. Teachers have the opportunity to create their own educational content for distance learning in professional higher education institutions. When training students, it is necessary to reform the training to use both face-to-face learning and digital educational resources, which in turn provides information support for learning, and expands the possibilities of learning and studying advanced techniques and technologies, as well as to establish a live communication channel for participants in the educational process. Given the specifics of training different specialists, special attention should be paid to the use of educational resources that provide visualization of processes and virtual laboratory work. The modern digital revolution and the development of information technology are being confidently implemented in vocational higher education, opening up numerous advantages and new opportunities for distance learning, and the COVID-19 pandemic has contributed to the rapid growth of its popularity. Digital technologies stimulate the development of didactic innovations, and during the quarantine restrictions, students and teachers have become quite accustomed to online learning. Electronic tools encourage flexibility, methodological diversity, and motivation to learn. The main advantage of distance learning is independence from location and time. Prospects for further research are to study foreign experience of distance education and improve the educational content for distance learning in professional higher education institutions.
