What is it about?

The scientific literature has already established the influence of thermal conditions on the health and performance of students. However, subjective evaluations are often overwhelmed by normative evaluations and do not receive the necessary attention. This research found that students acclimated to higher thermal conditions felt the effects of the increase in air temperature less, showed less perceptual variability, and had a higher degree of thermal adaptability.

Why is it important?

This is important because users' opinions are often neglected, leading to conditions that are misaligned with their perceptions. This has a direct impact on satisfaction, well-being, and concentration when carrying out activities. Holistically, it directly impacts the learning process and educational quality.

Perspectives

Writing this article was important because it provided evidence of an ongoing issue. Therefore, it can help inform public policies on the importance of environmental conditions in classrooms.
