This study determines the injury rates of mechanical contractors and also identify what types of injuries are prevalent in mechanical contractors. The study also determine what are some of the factors that have significant effect on the injury rates of these contractors.

This finding is important, because it showed whether mechanical contractors job are prone to injuries. It also recommended some methods to reduce the injury rates in these contractors
Perspectives
The injury rate in construction work is not going down since a decade. Through this study, the authors had bench marked the injury rates of the mechanical contractors. There are some specific types of injuries which are prevalent with mechanical contractors. So identifying these injuries will help the contractors to use the best practices that can reduce these injuries in their workers.
