What is it about?
Visual vertigo occurs after vestibular and non-vestibular pathology and can be present in children and adolescents. It can be assessed by “the Visual Vertigo Analogue Scale” (VVAS), a questionnaire with a Portuguese version for adults. This work consists in the adaptation to pediatric age of VVAS in European Portuguese.

Why is it important?
Visual vertigo is difficult to diagnose in children. This questionnaire might be helpful in the evaluation of vertigo children.
Perspectives
I hope this article makes what people might think is a boring, slightly abstract area like vestibular pathology and vertigo symptoms kind of interesting and ultimately lead to a greater involvement in disease research.
