What is it about?
Railway bridge design requires interaction analysis between rails, trains, and bridges. This paper provides approaches to create such models and insights into analysis results. We show that using software capable of stage construction analysis with inelastic elements, it is possible to analyze rail-structure interaction, vehicle-track-structure interaction, and rail breaks using a single model.
