Why is it important?

Previous researches have been mostly experimental studies that investigate effects of loads on reinforced concrete box culverts with limited number of experimental set-ups. The main objective of this study is to investigate theoretical effects of geometrical parameters such as span width, culvert height and fill depth on RCBC design. The other objective of this study is to explain live and dead loads that act on RCBC and the derivation of vehicle load distribution formulas in detail.
