What is it about?
Intra-articular distension is an important option in the treatment of adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder. A practical question was raized and it was "what is the most adequate moment to performe this treatment; before or after starting rehabilitation program ? We performed a randomized controlled trial to to compare the effectiveness between before-rehabilitation and during-rehabilitation intra-articular distension.

Why is it important?
Our findings show that performing intra-articular distension before starting rehabilition program has a beneficial impact on functional recovery during the management of adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder.
