Why is it important?

Cranial Remolding Orthosis are viewed by many as a device that does not correct cranial deformities when in fact they are very successful under the right care.

Perspectives

Many publications regarding cranial deformities (Plagiocephaly/Brachycephaly) have been poorly designed and managed. This publication was well thought out and has used a consistent algorithm for evaluation, plan, and treatment. Though we are not surprised by the results, it confirms what we believe and how we manage this patient population in a expert setting. Hopefully this publication will help medical professionals form a more evidence based opinion when treating this patient population in their own practice.
