It took us a very long search to find and be aware of Norman Dott achievements with CPs. As authors we have not save any effort to gather all availables pieces of information about the issues includes in the paper, we travelled to Yale University and investigated personally, at our expense, all the letters exchanged between Harvey Cushing and Norman Dott as well as the CP cases attended by Dott at Peter Brigham. We have placed all our enthusiasm and passion for knowledge in this article, and feel priviledged for being able to share it with the neurosurgical community through JNS.
