What is it about?
Homelessness is one of the most difficult social problems to solve and is the focus of interest not only of individual states and local governments, but also of transnational institutions dealing with sustainable development. This article aims to identify deficits in homelessness policy in the Czech Republic and proposals for their solution through the "Framework of Homelessness Problem Areas" created by us, and to evaluate the comprehensiveness and adequacy of coverage of all potential homelessness problem areas by these proposals.

Why is it important?
From the available literature on homelessness, as well as from the analysis of relevant strategic and implementation documents that explicitly or implicitly address the issue of homelessness, it follows that we can distinguish between "external" and "internal" topics and problematic areas that form a complex of potential and real problems, the successful solution of which can significantly contribute to solving the life situation of homeless people and thus increase the likelihood of their return to mainstream society.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a great pleasure as it was co-authored with whom I have had long-standing collaborations. In addition, I gained personal contacts with people from various organisations dealing with homelessness.
