What is it about?

The article presents a study on the significance of different mesh quality related parameters on CFD analysis of airfoils. Four critical mesh quality related parameters (which are non-orthogonality, skewness, smoothness, aspect ratio) are discussed in this article.

Why is it important?

As it has been mentioned in this article - "In CFD simulations, the accuracy of the solutions are highly dependent upon on the quality of the mesh. There are several mesh quality metrics, some of the most critical parameters are orthogonality, skewness, smoothness (also termed as uniformity, growth factor, growth rate or change in cell size) and aspect ratio. Perspectives

A dedicated article on mesh quality for CFD analysis of airfoils is not that common. So, I am happy to publish this article.
