Why is it important?

In order to establish maxillary occlusal plane in an edentulous patient, we need to have some reference lines. Once the standard parameter is set, it becomes easy to find out "lost occlusal plane" in edentulous patients.

Perspectives

I hope this article helps researchers to find out and compare their data with one. It was a great pleasure in writing this article as this type of comparison was never done in the past amongst these ethnic population.
