Why is it important?

Instant and very early operative intervention within two hours of Eclamptic and severe eclamptic mother does not help to improve in maternal and fetal outcomes.Study found that there was no significant difference in maternal and fetal out come when you intervene to deliver within 24 hours. It is helpfull if intervention carried out after proper stabilization of maternal condition with Magnesium sulphate and other supportive measure and care for at least 4-6 hours.

Perspectives

It is important message given by the study to clinician and obstetrician including me. "Do not be hurry for instant Cesarean section before the well establishment of maternal condition of eclamptic and severe preeclamptic mother". Proper stabilization takes at least 4 hours after treatment with magnesium sulphate.
