Why is it important?

Too many beginning scholars select a mixed-methods approach without considering the strength and weaknesses of such mixed-methods apoproach. Remember all methods have their own inherent strengths and weaknesses. Also becuase we can combine different quantitative and qualitative methods at one time not all mixed-methods research is the same!

Perspectives

We felt there was a need for a mixed-methods paper highlighting some of the key issue we had come across in various previous studies and reviewing papers for academic journals.
