WWOOF stands for the World Wide Opportunites on Organic Farms and it is an exchange programme which connects local farmers with volunteers who come to work on a farm in exchange for food and accommodation.

Why is it important?

This research note focused to find an appropriate methodology to understand why farmers and volunteers choose to participate in this programme in Nepal.

Perspectives

I believe that World Wide Opportunites on Organic Farms is an amazing alternative to tourism which can provide locals and their international visitors with meaningful experinences.
