Why is it important?

In multiple foreign bodies ingestion there is always an element of psychological disorder which should also be treated to avoid repetition.

Perspectives

When the mother gave the history about ingestion of large number of pebbles as reported to her by the boy's friends in a situation where the boy presented with dysphagia due to impaction of one pebble in the lower esophagus; demonstration of a very large number of pebbles on plain x-ray of abdomen created a concern i the long term management of the child.
