Densities of Striped hyenas appear to vary greatly across their range and factors driving this variation are poorly understood because of the paucity of rigorous studies.
Perspectives
The present study demonstrates that extensive field work and current status regarding habitat, threats, conservation initiatives and peoples’ tolerance level which may help in predicting the baseline information and lead to conservation of striped hyena in Nepal.
