Why is it important?

Districts spend millions each year on professional development without evidence that these programs benefit teachers or their students. This study offers a way to sort through the maze of programs and finding those that are most likely to be helpful

Perspectives

Districts waste a lot of money on professional development. As a field, we need to get better at sorting out useful vs not-so-useful programs.
