What is it about?

This is my small contribution to the replication debates in the social sciences. My original suggestions to improve replicability are for journal editors to (1) provide a list of most desired replications, and (2) demand that authors explicitly state the studies that provided the most influence on their work.

Why is it important?

The social sciences--especially psychology--are passing through a replication crisis where landmarks studies are often difficult to replicate. Scientists need to make efforts to improve the replicability of their research.
