What is it about?

A Christian worldview is expressed within human boundaries but aims at reality going beyond it. The individual human expressions are "un-limited" by each other (and thus open up and enrich each other) and in their totality they are "un-limited" in a future-orientated dynamic towards and from God’s fullness. I discussion with Roger Haight, a responsable way of "mysticism" could emerge.

Why is it important?

This article proposes a way in which the Christian faith can be lived and thought in a responsible and constructive manner. This requires a prudent approach to bringing one's own beliefs, life experiences and historical and contemporary ideas into dialogue with one another. In this way, one's own identity is determined not against others, but with others and for others. Being rooted in the Christian faith and openness to a shared future then go hand in hand.
