What is it about?
In recent years, many studies on the relationship between G.W.F. Hegel and metaphilosophy have appeared, articulating it in various ways. However, while they mainly explored how Hegel's philosophy can contribute to contemporary metaphilosophy, they did not specifically consider how Hegel's metaphilosophy can contribute to current philosophical research as a whole. In this paper, I argue that Hegel's method remains significant today, as it allows both deducing a conceptual apparatus that is free from unwarranted presuppositions and reconciling a conception of philosophy as essentially the analysis (i.e., description) of concepts and a conception of philosophy as essentially the synthesis (i.e., creation) of them.
