What is it about?
Hume introduces a distinction between impressions and ideas. He seems to characterize impressions as forceful perceptions and ideas are faint. A problem emerges, however, once Hume countenances the possibility of faint impressions and forceful ideas. In this paper, I attempt a resolution to the problem.
