What is it about?
Organic agricultural products are becoming increasingly popular because they are healthier for consumers and better for the environment. However, many people still do not buy organic products due to limited awareness, higher prices, and a lack of information about their benefits. This study explores how sustainable marketing strategies can encourage more consumers to choose organic agricultural products. It examines the role of eco-labels, consumer education, transparent product information, and promotional campaigns in influencing purchasing decisions. Using consumer surveys, case studies, and statistical analyses, the research identifies the marketing approaches that are most effective in building consumer trust and increasing demand for organic products. The findings suggest that clear communication, environmental awareness, and reliable certification can significantly improve consumer confidence and support the growth of sustainable agriculture.

Why is it important?
As concerns about environmental sustainability, food safety, and healthy lifestyles continue to grow, promoting organic agricultural products has become increasingly important. This study provides practical evidence on how sustainable marketing strategies influence consumer behaviour and purchasing decisions. By identifying effective approaches such as eco-labelling, consumer education, and transparent communication, the research offers valuable guidance for farmers, marketers, policymakers, and agribusinesses. The findings contribute to the development of marketing strategies that support sustainable agriculture, strengthen consumer trust, and encourage environmentally responsible consumption.
Perspectives
As an author, I believe that sustainable agriculture can succeed only when consumers clearly understand the environmental, social, and health benefits of organic products. Marketing should not simply focus on selling products but also on educating consumers and building long-term trust. Through this research, I realised that transparency, credible eco-labelling, and effective communication play a crucial role in influencing purchasing behaviour. I hope this study encourages businesses, policymakers, and researchers to work together in promoting sustainable consumption and supporting farmers who adopt environmentally responsible agricultural practices.
