This is a retrospective study showing that use of liposomal bupivacaine for pain control in pediatric pectus surgery patients results in lower pain scores after 24 hours and less need for narcotics for pain control

Pectus surgery can produce tremendous post-operative pain and devising novel methods to treat this is important.
Perspectives
Having been a surgical patient myself who received liposomal bupivacaine for pain control I can personally attest to its efficacy.
