What is it about?
This paper incorporates local search methods which are Newton Raphson and Line Search Newton Raphson Methods for various trim conditions such as steady flight, climb/descend flight, coordinated turn, and pull-up flights.

Why is it important?
Aircraft trim is used for use in creating linearization matrices, control theory, flight mechanic, and flight simulation.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has co-authors with whom I have had long-standing collaborations. I hope this article makes what people might think is a complicated, slightly abstract area like flight dynamics and challenging trim conditions, kind of interesting and maybe even exciting- it is an issue that touches every single engineer on flight mechanic, flight simulation, and flight control topics.
