What is it about?
The cislunar Tug is a reusable cargo-transporting vehicle envisioned to serve the Deep Space Gateway by 2025. It uses both electric and chemical propulsion elements that can operate independently and in a hybrid configuration to meet a broad set of requirements. Such a design can reduce fuel requirements significantly while still maintaining a relatively fast mission cycle time.
