What is it about?
Shockwave and boundary layer interaction is very important for designing an airliner or a device that are associated with high-speed flows. When shockwave is hitting a surface, it creates a complication region by interacting with the boundary layer. These interactions are often associated with several detrimental effects. We are exploring the opportunities to employ thermoelasticity to deal with these adverse effects.

Why is it important?
We are doing a comprehensive study including the thermal and elastic effect. We also explore the response of the panel and structural effects on the panel.
Perspectives
This is a unique work where a lot of observation need to done yet.
