This research integrates engine exhaust nozzle with aircraft and analyze the effect of exhaust nozzle on overall performance of aircraft

Why is it important?

Often exhaust nozzle and intake ducts are excluded from CFD analysis of aircraft due to complexities involved. However, these simplifications often lead to inaccuracies. This research aims to integrate engine exhaust nozzle with aircraft which is not done before for this aircraft. Also, no Wind tunnel results were available with an integrated nozzle and intake duct. Hence, this research has helped in obtaining significant results.

Perspectives

This research is unique and complex in nature. All the credit goes to my advisor Dr. Jehanzeb Masud, who helped me throughout this research and provided me with priceless advice whenever required. This is my first publication with AIAA and I feel honored.
