Corona wind works with low(micro) direct current which has a low power implication and simple for operation. Also it is noiseless. Boundary layer perturbation for convective heat transfer coefficient enhancement is highly advisable.
Perspectives
This article is very important for heat transfer enhancement in vertical tubes. Spot cooling for complex geometries would be adopted in a similar manner.
