What is it about?

Ageing (deterioration of properties) of propellants is well known phenomenon. But, it is not so well modeled to predict safe life due to the poor replication of long period (10 to 15 years) of natural ageing in laboratory. This paper talks about a novel artificial ageing method. This paper also presents some basic and interesting results related to the effect of natural ageing on the mechanical properties of composite solid propellants.
