What is it about?
Today, researchers are still hoping that economical and safe WIGE craft can be finally produced and accepted as one of the mean-stream transport vehicles, and so is the intention of this research work in defining and designing a WIGE concept that would be suitable for domestic applications by also exploring possible concepts based on findings and experiences, which have been accumulated by many researchers.

The benefits of the aerodynamic phenomena on wing-in-ground-effect, particularly in terms of added lift and reduced drag may help a bit to reduce fuel consumption.
Perspectives
There is a need to go on the quest to bring the wing-in-ground-effect craft one step higher in the realm of the world’s transportation today. The ultimate goal is, of course, to produce WIGE crafts that can be deployed safely and efficiently to serve people as an alternative transportation vehicles for the future
