What is it about?

As geofencing becomes a more utilized safety system for unmanned aerial systems, this work demonstrates multiple behaviors that could be employed in response to potential geofence breaches.

Why is it important?

To encourage the usage of a safety system that restricts a pilot's or operator's control over an unmanned aerial vehicle, the operator needs a system that reacts in an easy to understand, consistent, and non-invasive response. This work demonstrates multiple options for the response of the geofence system upon pending geofence breach.
