What is it about?

This paper introduces two methods. One is used to generate hybrid linear mesh with advancing-layer + spring model. Another is based on this pipe-like linear mesh to generate high-order nodes for curved mesh generation. The anisotropic boundary layer mesh is generated with inner mesh in one piece.

Why is it important?

The anisotropic boundary layer mesh is generated with inner mesh in one piece. The high-order mesh is deformed super fast without need for re-deformation. The method is promising to be implemented in parallel.

Perspectives

This method is unique. I really hope it is not unique by further development from other researchers. It has a large potential to be improved.
