What is it about?

This paper proposes application of wireless power transfer for charging of electric-powered Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV)s. Mathematical model, simulations and experiments are presented.

Why is it important?

Presented project investigate capabilities and limitations of wireless system for particular UAV application, i.e. for the infrastructure monitoring, like inspection of power transmission lines.

Perspectives

The most important outcome of the investigation presented here is, a justifications and presentation of a novel idea of using energy from the electromagnetic field under the power transmission lines.
