What is it about?

New computations of a well-known experimental data set (Stetson, 1983) on blunt cones at Mach 6.

Featured Image

Why is it important?

The first comprehensive computations of Ken Stetson's seminal Mach 6 blunt cone transition experiments, with data taken from Stetson's own notebook. (The 1983 paper only reports data in normalized form; this work makes an old but well-cited data set much more accessible.)

Perspectives

A comprehensive look at the data--all ~200 conditions were computed.
