What is it about?
Swirl injector is a useful type of fuel injector and present good comparative advantages face to the others types of injectors. In early theories the assumption of frictionless flow led some incertainties in determination of initial spray angle and discharge coeficients in such injector. In this work a more empirical approach gave a more simple way to obtain these flow parameters.
