What is it about?

In this paper, performance of a novel combined thermoelectric generator (TEG), an organic Rankine cycle (ORC), and an absorption refrigeration cycle (ARC) is evaluated. Combining ARC with TEG and ORC is a new concept that is introduced in this study. A thermodynamic model was developed to simulate the performance of the combined system under certain operating conditions. The model results are validated by comparing those with previously published results. In the TEG, 10 rows and a number of columns are considered to investigate the effect of TEG columns on performance of the combined system. New results are presented in this study that might be useful for the energy sector for industrial implementation.
