What is it about?
The Zonal Monte Carlo (Zonal-MC) method is generalized for applications to radiative heat transfer in multi-dimensional absorbing and isotropic scattering media with different homogenous optical properties in discrete regions. . Results can be used to assess the effectiveness of scattering material for thermal protection.
