What is it about?

Transpiration Cooling is a promising active thermal protection system for hypersonic vehicles. In this work, we measure the 2D spatial heat transfer on transpiration cooled surfaces in both laminar and turbulent hypersonic flows and the effectiveness of this cooling system.
