What is it about?

We develop a new method for the reconstruction of the heat flux in three-dimensional solid geometries using few distributed temperature sensors. The main ideas are to approximate the Green's function using Galerkin's method and represent the time-space variations of the heat flux using B-splines. We apply this method to the determination of the heat flux supported by Mach-6 test flows.
