Impingement Cooling Performance Analysis and Improvement of Synthetic Jets for Electronic Devices

What is it about?

The hot air recirculation leads to heat transfer deterioration of conventional synthetic jets at small nozzle-to-surface distances. A hybrid synthetic jet based on a fluid diode is proposed to overcome the hot air recirculation and markedly improve the impingement cooling performance at small nozzle-to-surface distances.
