What is it about?
Tungsten can be used in various high temperature applications including hypersonic flight vehicles. In order to develop an oxidation-dominated ablation model, we conduct an ablation test of tungsten using arc heater, then through a numerical simulation, calculate experimental conditions which cannot be given in the test.
