What is it about?

This research investigates the dynamic response of the composite single-lap joint structure with and without damage computed through a numerical model. The model accuracy is established by comparing the values with in-house experimental data. Furthermore, the model is extended to create data sets by varying the input parameters, which are then utilised to create a convolutional neural network model to predict joint integrity.
