The k−ω Shear Stress Transport Model with ω=0 at the Wall

What is it about?

The widely used turbulence model, called k-ω SST, can give rise to some numerical problems due to the associated boundary condition for ω on the walls. We propose a modification of the model, which gives virtually identical results to the original model, but with a boundary condition that meets the numerical requirements.
